Jurgen Klopp needs to favour Darwin Nunez in the starting lineup.
The Uruguayan striker has started only three games this campaign compared to Cody Gakpo’s five.
Nunez has bagged three goals and two assists and has already made a contribution than his teammate Gakpo.
Ex-Reds star Danny Murphy claims Jurgen Klopp needs to drop the Dutch forward and put Nunez in the starting XI.
“I really like what I see. I’ve been calling for a while now to give him a really good run of games because any young striker who is trying to build his confidence and his standing at a football club needs a good run of games,” Murphy told talkSPORT.
“He will score goals, he must be a nightmare to play against. If he plays for you all the time, will he get you 20 goals? I think he would, I think he will. I think he looks capable. I think he looks quick, good in the air, huge.”
