Juventus ‘agree’ Paul Pogba deal

Midfielder will join FC Barcelona

Juventus have agreed to sell Paul Pogba to FC Barcelona, according to reports.

The Frenchman has been strongly linked with a move away from Turin all summer, but he stayed put in Italy with the Serie A champions to the surprise of many.

It was then revealed that Pogba rejected a chance to join Chelsea after they had a mega-bid accepted by Juventus.

The 22-year-old admitted that he turned down a move to Stamford Bridge because he didn’t feel the need to move, and since then it’s been well documented that he wants a move to La Liga with Barca.

Well Pogba could finally be getting his wish as according to reports, the two clubs have agreed a pre-contract for the sale of the powerhouse.

Barca are currently under a transfer embargo and that’s why they didn’t make a move over the summer, but they can sign again in January and it’s believed that is when they will announce the deal.

According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, officials from Juve and Barca have met up and discussed a deal, with reports stating that the negotiations went well.

The Italian paper are reporting that Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has reached an agreement with Juve for the sale of the midfielder.
