Juventus 'Have Lost Their Hunger'

Juventus are slammed for nothing showing enough intent this season.

Former Bianconeri forward, Jose Altafini believes the club has lost their hunger after winning 9 consecutive Serie A titles.

Andrea Pirlo’s Juve side was knocked out of the Champions League by lowly FC Porto last month. They are currently fourth in the league and fighting for Champions League qualification.

Altafini said, “I think about it, but this match is not like the one of 46 years ago, because we were playing the championship that day.

“Wednesday’s challenge, the recovery of the match not played at the beginning of the season, he is giving away only one place in the Champions League.

“I think that Juve, after nine league titles in a row, have lost the ‘hunger’ they had, after all it is also normal, and then, even if they have an ace like De Ligt, his defense is no longer the same.”

Inter Milan have surged ahead in the league by 12 points. Napoli are level on points with Juve while AC Milan and Atalanta are ahead. This is not what fans expected after nearly a decade of dominance in the domestic league.
