Juventus prepare huge last effort to sign Emre Can from Liverpool.
Juventus are preparing a big offer in a last attempt to lure the Liverpool midfielder Emre Can to Italy.
Despite being first choice for JĂĽrgen Klopp during the season, Can has not committed to his future at Anfield. With his contract running out in the summer, many European top clubs have been chasing the German international.
The Serie-A-club have signed several big names during the past years for free, including Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba, Sami Khedira and Kingsley Coman. Can is supposed to be the next star player to join their ranks in the summer, only though if he commits to Juventus within the next week.
The deal is said to include a five-year contract worth £8.8million annually plus bonuses, an enticing prospect for Can. Should he chose to decline the offer, Juventus will most likely intensify pursuits of Schalke midfielder Max Meyer, who would be available for a free transfer in the summer as well and has been reluctant to sign a new deal with the Bundesliga-club.
