Juan Cuadrado and Ramires on The Old Lady’s radar

Serie A champions Juventus want to sign two of Chelsea’s outcasts this summer, with Juan Cuadrado and Ramires both on the Italian club’s radar.

Reports emerged yesterday that Juve wanted to sign Ramires as a replacement for Andrea Pirlo, but according to today’s reports, they also want to sign Cuadrado as well.

The Serie A champions have lost both Pirlo and Arturo Vidal, leaving them short in the midfield department, and Massimiliano Allegri is ready to make a couple of signings in order to add depth to his squad.

Several names have been linked with a move to Juve, including Julian Draxler, Mesut Ozil and David Silva, however, Allegri is now focusing all his attentions on the Premier League champions.

Surplus to Requirements

Both Ramires and Cuadrado are way down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, and both could be sold in order for the club to raise funds to spend elsewhere.

Ramires is behind the likes of John Obi Mikel, Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic, whilst Cuadrado is behind Eden Hazard, Willian and Oscar.

The duo could be sold by Chelsea, with Juve keen on wrapping up deals as soon as possible.

Ramires failed to make many first-team appearances last season, and Cuadrado didn’t impress after arriving in January from Fiorentina.
