Manchester United are set to allow Shinji Kagawa return back to Borussia Dortmund.
The Japanese attacking midfielder has been a bit-part player since joining United from Dortmund for ÂŁ17 million and has found it hard to find his feet at Old Trafford since arriving.
Dortmund have agreed personal terms with Kagawa and all that is left to do is agree a fee between the clubs. It is understood that the German outfit have offered ÂŁ8 million to re-sign the player, with United boss Louis Van Gaal happy with the money offered.
It look increasingly likely that Kagawa will secure a deal back to Germany in the coming days, with United ready to offload players before the deadline on Monday.
Valencia have also made enquiries over Kagawa, and are also after Javier Hernandez and Tom Cleverley.
