Kai Havertz has lifted the lid on his summer transfer to Arsenal.
The German playmaker has endured a difficult spell at the Emirates as he managed only two goals in 20 appearances across competitions this season.
Havertz has been under immense scrutiny for his lack of power in front of goal since arriving at the Emirates.
He struggled to maintain consistency at his former club Chelsea and his arrival came as a surprise to several Arsenal fans.
Havertz has scored 32 goals in 139 appearances during his three-year stint with Chelsea.
However, he enjoyed his best moment in an Arsenal shirt netting an 89th-winner against Brentford on Saturday evening.
This cameo will be a confidence booster for the German and will be expected to come in the left-sided No. 8 role for the Gunners.
Havertz explains in details about his surprise move to the North London club this summer.
He said: “I think it all had to go very fast. Think it was just (on) my holidays and then we were speaking to the guys from Arsenal and it was an opportunity to do it then so we just did it.”
“You know the whole process was nice and I had some chats with Edu and with the manager and all the chats were amazing and they gave me such good feelings.”
