Harry Kane is reportedly not ready to start against Burnley.
However, Mauricio Pochettino might look to use him as a substitute.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is reportedly not to be considered in the starting lineup for the next match against Burnley. The player has made a surprise return to training just a few days ago, which was actually ahead of the schedule. Kane has undoubtedly been the best player for his side and his absence was supposed to be a huge blow for the north London club. However, players like Fernando Llorente and Heung Min Son have stepped up to the occasion and have helped their side take on the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool in the race to win the Premier League title.
Pochettino has always been mysterious about his team composition and has not given any confirmation about whether Kane, who was expected to make his return to the starting lineup against the Clarets, would be in the bench or not. However, from the recent reports, it is being assumed that the England skipper will not start against Sean Dyche’s side and might be on the bench for the next match which will be held at Wembley.
