Real Madrid star Karim Benzema wants to move to Arsenal, after the striker pleads ‘come and get me’.

The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with the Gunners for the past two seasons and the Premier League side are lining up are ready to break their transfer record and bid £45million for the forward, despite Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger playing down the speculation surrounding the deal.

La Liga expert Graham Hunter thinks that all the aspects of the deal look likely to go ahead, as long as Benzema asks to leave the Spanish giants.

The La Liga club are in debts of around £350million, indicating that they are in no position to turn down a hefty offer for the France international, should Arsenal match Madrid’s asking price.

In an interview with talkSPORT, Hunter said: “Arsenal have the money and Real Madrid need the money. They are 500million Euros in global debt.

“They are trying to buy David De Gea and won’t go the extra mile to get him off Manchester United because of the cash, so they need the money.

“And because Rafa Benitez will play 4-2-3-1, there is one less place for an attacking player than there was last season.

“It is a double deal, but it won’t happen unless Benzema says to Real Madrid: ‘I want to go to Arsenal’.” he added.
