Kevin Strootman has been linked with a move away from Roma repeatedly recently, and it is reported both Chelsea and Manchester United have been tracking the midfielder.
Roma’s CEO, Mauro Baldissoni has now reiterated the fact that the Italians are adamant that they will not be selling up.
“Strootman? We have already expressed our position. Our President gets angry on a daily basis over reports that we want to close a sale to Manchester United” said the CEO.
“Our policy is to invest on quality players who have room for improvement.”
“Kevin is a young player, experienced, and we want to base our future on players like him.”
