Toure is confident an extension can be finalised soon
Liverpool central defender Kolo Toure is set to agree a new one year contract extension at Anfield.
The 34 year old’s current deal runs out at the end of next month, but he is keen to secure his immediate future with the Reds.
Toure wants to see out the rest of his career in England, and is willing to stay at Liverpool, despite some big money offers from abroad.

“I think the situation will be resolved soon,” he said. “We are talking. There are few things more but we will see.
“Liverpool is a great club for me to stay at. Liverpool is going to be massive.
“I love Premier League football and I played all my years here and if I can finish here (Liverpool) it would be great.
“I play for Liverpool right now and I am very happy and if it was to carry on, I’d be more than happy.”
