Leroy Sane has spoken on his rumoured transfer to Manchester United insisting he is very happy at Manchester City and has no intention of leaving the club.
The German youngster had been the subject of a potential transfer to City’s archrival. The 22 year old was severely involved in City’s 6-I thrashing of Southampton as he netted one and set up another as they cruised past Mark Hughes’ side with utter ease.
But it hasn’t been a smooth sailing for the youngster. Questions were raised on his attitude and he was eventually dropped from the squad by Pep Guardiola for their game against Newcastle United.
But last season’s young player of the year has brought a drastic change to his behaviour and attitude and everyone seems to be pleased with the player’s contribution so far.
On being asked about his chances to join the Red Devils the German answered, “That won’t happen.
“That won’t happen at all. I am really happy here and I’m on the right side.”
“I have not been worried at all. I know what they want from me and what they expect from me and I will just try to work hard.
“I always enjoy myself. To play with these players under this coach is a really good feeling and everyone can see we enjoy it all together, playing with each other. It’s fun to play with this team.”
