FC Barcelona star Lionel Messi has accused the club’s director of football of knowing nothing about the game.
The future of the Argentinian magician is still undecided due to the Spanish giants not willing to open contract talks just yet due to his injury, but the club president has said time and time againt hat he would never allow the world’s best player to leave the club.
However, in a recent interview, Messi has taken a swipe at one of the director’s at the club and has claimed that they know nothing about football.
Messi said: ‘Barcelona is the best club in the world and should be represented by the best board members too. Senor [Javier] Faus is someone who doesn’t know anything about football and wants to manage Barcelona like a business, which it is not.’
‘Besides, I would remind him that neither I nor anyone from my camp has asked for any wage increase and he knows that very well.’
