Marcelo Brozovic and Gary Medel could be heading to Anfield
Jurgen Klopp is hoping to bring Inter Milan duo Marcelo Brozovic and Gary Medel to Anfield this summer.
Croatia international Brozovic was one of the standout performers for his country at Euro 2016 and Liverpool are believed to be long-term admirers.
Defensive midfielder Medel is reportedly available for transfer as Inter plan a summer spending spree.
Klopp watched the 28-year-old, who has Premier League experience with Cardiff, during Copa America this summer. It’s thought that Klopp is looking to sell Anfield veteran Lucas this summer, and Medel would be an ideal replacement for the Brazilian.
Lucas was one of 6 players told they wouldn’t play if they opted to stay at the club, along with Christian Benteke, Mario Balotelli, Lazar Markovic, Thiago Illori, and Adam Bogdan.
This is Klopp’s first summer transfer window at Liverpool since arriving in October last year, and he’s looking to build his own streamlined squad that can play in his image.
