One-in, one-out at Anfield
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is in advanced talks to sign Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Digne as a replacement for youngster Andre Wisdom who is on the verge of signing for Norwich City.
A number of newspapers in France are claiming that the Anfield club are in advanced talks to sign left-back Digne from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Get French Football News exclusively revealed that the 22-year-old is likely to leave the French giants, despite being content at the club.
The reliable source say the France international is not pleased by PSG’s willingness to offload him, which has led to further negotiations between himself, his agent and the Liverpool hierarchy.
The Reds haven’t put an official offer on the table for PSG to consider yet, but reports say a bid being made is only a matter of days away.
One-In/One-Out
However, the Digne move will only happen if versatile defender Andre Wisdom completes his move to Norwich City in the coming days, after a deal has been agreed for the 22-year-old to join the Premier League new boys.
It is understood that the England U21 international will join the Canaries on a season-long loan deal.
The right-back, who can play at centre-back, spent last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion after a spell on loan at Championship side Derby County the previous season.
Norwich will pay £1.25million to secure Wisdom’s services as they prepare to avoid relegation from the Premier League next season.
