Liverpool are considering making a transfer move for West Brom striker Salomon Rondon.

The Reds will have to replace Daniel Sturridge this month if the Englishman manages to secure a loan move. Sturridge is desperate for more game time after spending much of Jurgen Klopp‘s tenure as manager on the bench.

Liverpool are preparing for Sturridge’s exit in January and Rondon is a target.

The Reds will have to battle their Merseyside rival Everton for Rondon’s signature. A £15million offer could tempt the Baggies into a sale.Rondon has 18 months left on his current contract but is thought to be happy in the Midlands and is not angling for a transfer.

Benteke and Carroll were both booted from Liverpool despite big money moves because the strikers did not fit the Reds’ style of playing. Liverpool have plenty of funds in the transfer kitty after banking £140m from the sale of Philippe Coutinho.
