Liverpool have been on the lookout for a new goalkeeper all season, and manager Brendan Rodgers is believed to have finally found his man in Espanyol’s Kiko Casilla.
Casilla has been firmly watched by the Reds throughout the opening matches of this season, and manager Brendan Rodgers has decided to move in on the Spaniard.
According to reports in Spain, Liverpool have proposed to Casilla a position as their number one man between the sticks if he arrives in the upcoming January transfer window.
Further detalis of the stories status are yet to be revealed, but it is understood that Casilla has a number of other offers, with Real Madrid tipped to be Liverpool’s biggest competitor for the 28-year-old’s signature.
