Liverpool planning summer bid for Omar Abdulrahman

Arsenal had invited the player commonly known as Amoory for a trial only last summer, but he had turned it down as he wants to land a permanent move to the Premier League.

A year later, after starring at the London Olympics, Abdulraham had a trial at Manchester City.

But a deal broke down due to work permit issues.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers still needs a wide player having missed out on Mohamed Salah and Ukrainian Yevhen Konoplyanka during the January transfer window.

Egyptian star Salah joined Chelsea instead while Dnipro failed to conclude a ÂŁ12m deal for Konoplyanka on deadline day.

Rodgers could yet go back in for Konoplyanka at the end of the season.

But Abdulrahman has now emerged as an alternative, with Liverpool chief scout Barry Hunter keeping a close eye on him.
