Liverpool are readying an £18million bid for Paris Saint-Germain winger Ezequiel Lavezzi.
The French side are desperate to sell some of their top-earners due to the Financial Fair Play rules, and after signing David Luiz from Chelsea for £50m, Laurent Blanc is working hard on selling some of their stars.
Striker Edinson Cavani is strongly linked with an exit, as is Lavezzi, who is wanted by Liverpool and Chelsea.
Despite the FFP rules, Blanc is close to securing a deal with Real Madrid for winger Angel Di Maria, and that is why he is keen to sell Lavezzi.
The Argentinian international has been closely watched by Chelsea since January, but it is Liverpool who are in pole position to sign the 29-year-old, and they believe they will be able to wrap up a deal with the French champions for as little as £18m.
