PSG interested in Reds no.10

Liverpool have slapped a huge £68million asking price on Brazilian Phillippe Coutinho, accoring to French reports.

It’s being suggested by Le 10 Sport that Coutinho is their no.1 transfer priority and they could be willing to splash the cash to buy him.

However, to complicate matters for the French side, Spanish media claimed this week that Coutinho fancies a move to Barcelona.

Coutinho’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, made contact with Barca but the La Liga side informed him that their attacking options were well stocked.

The 24-year-old has been in fine form this season, bagging four goals and four assists to help the Reds to joint top on points in the Premier League table, with Arsenal and Manchester City.

He’s under contract with the Reds until 2020 but it’s thought Liverpool are working on a new deal to offer him, and fend off potential buyers.

Since joining the club from Inter Milan in 2013, he’s made 117 appearances for the club and scored 25 goals.
