Philippe Coutinho to miss 6 weeks of action
Philippe Coutinho has been ruled out for 6 weeks with an ankle injury after having scans on the problem today.
The Brazilian picked up the injury on Saturday afternoon in the Reds’ 2-0 win over Middlesborough, and was stretchered off the pitch in the first half.
The good news for him is that he doesn’t require surgery, but will miss a busy Christmas period in the Premier League,
He is likely to miss matches against Bournemouth (Dec 4th), West Ham (Dec 11th), Middlesbrough (Dec 14th), Everton (Dec 19th), Stoke City (Dec 27th), Man City (Dec 31st) and Sunderland (Jan 2nd).
