Reds face tough competition for Brandt
Liverpool are facing tough competition from Bayern Munich from £20million-rated German winger Julien Brandt.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is said to be a big fan of Brandt and has watched the Leverkusen winger several times.
He has been a target for Klopp ever since the former-Borussia Dortmund boss arrived at Anfield in 2015, but now the Reds face competition from the German champions.
It is understood that Bayern have already opened talks for a possible move.
Brandt, 20, has huge potential and Bayern see him as a long-term replacement for Thiago Alcantara.
The forward has been capped by Germany at every level from Under-15 to Under-21 and was part of their victorious team which won the Under-19 European Championships in 2014.
