Starlet’s contract is up at the end of the season and no talks have begun
Liverpool could lose one of their starlets in the summer on a free transfer with Jordan Rossiter’s contract set to expire next year.
The teenager is on the fringe of the first-team after making his senior debut under Brendan Rodgers last year, and despite being dubbed the new Steven Gerrard, Rossiter could be on his way out of Anfield next year.
The 18-year-old’s contract expires next summer and as it stands, no talks are in the pipeline with Jurgen Klopp and the club’s board.
Free Transfer
Worrying for Liverpool is that if Rossiter hasn’t signed a new deal by January, he could talk to clubs overseas due to the Bosman Rule, and he could agree a pre-contract with them to join them in July.
According to reports, several clubs are interested in signing the starlet, with some clubs in the Champions League monitoring the player’s situation.
