Liverpool to replace Mario Balotelli with trio of players

It seems Liverpool are looking at all their options in a bid to bolster their attacking options in January.

It is claimed Diafra Sakho (West Ham), Jackson Martinez (Porto) and Saido Berahino (West Ham) are all potential targets for Brendan Rodgers who has apparently ran out of patience with Mario.

It is highly unlikely that Liverpool will be able to sell Balotelli in January without causing huge loss financially to the club but it does seem certain he will be sold in the summer.

With Daniel Sturridge injured and Divock Origi on loan, Liverpool will need to bring in some players in the January transfer window.

The trio of players who seem to be Anfield targets have all had impressive season so far. Sakho has had a fantastic start to his life in England and it is felt that Berahino will be sold to a bigger club due to his performances for West Brom.

It has also been reported that Porto’s Martinez has been offered to the club as long as they receive £28million to activate a release clause in Martinez’s contract.
