Liverpool are reportedly trying to hijack Arsenal’s move to Loic Remy after approaching QPR about the Frenchman.

Remy has been told that he is allowed to leave QPR this summer, and it was thought that Arsenal  we the only team interesting in taking the striker away from Loftus Road. However, now The Loverpool Echo is saying that the mersyside club are looking to jump ahead of the Gunners in the race for him.

Liverpool have already signed striker Ricie Lambert this summer, but are now looking for extra firepower now that Luis Suarez has left, they are interested in both Remy and Swansea’s Wilfried Bony. Remy spent last season on loan at Newcastle while having a season in the Championship, where he scored 14 goals in 27 matches.
