Liverpool have refused to refund any fans who boought a new Liverpool shirt with Suarez on the back following his move to Barcelona.
The Uruguayan’s switch to the Nou Camp was confirmed today for a reported fee of £75million following weeks of speculation over the striker’s future at Anfield. However, despite the move being on the cards for weeks, some fans still decided to buy their new Liverpool shirts with ‘Suarez 7’ on the back for the new season, and now the club have said they will not be issuing a refund.
The new season may be weeks away, but the fans will now have to live with their pointless purchases.
