Barcelona full-back Dani Alves is set to leave the Nou Camp in summer when his contract expires and its no surprise that a whole host of clubs are wanting to buy his services.
Clubs like Manchester United seem to be ahead in the race to get the 31 year old but reports suggest Liverpool are ready and waiting to hijack the deal.
There was no mention of price in the report by the Daily Star only that they would be willing to offer him a deal once they let Glen Johnson leave.
If Dani Alves does join Liverpool he could be looking at earning £120,000 a week.
