Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to bulk-up his squad to allow his team to compete in next season’s Champions League.
The manager wants at least one new player in every position, and now it has been revealed who Rodgers is eyeing deals for.
Target #1 Adam Lallana:
There is no secrect to Liverpool’s approach to sign the Southampton star, after the club have bid twice to try and seal a deal for the attacking midfielder.
The two opening bids of £20m and £25m have both been turned down by Southampton, but advancements in any deal are expected to be done after the World Cup.
Southampton are holding out for at least £30m and it appears that Liverpool are reluctant to pay that amount of money.
Target #2 Dejan Lovren:
Liverpool are also keen on Southampton centre-back Dejan Lovren who is currently featuring for Croatia at the World Cup.
The Red’s may face a battle for the player’s signature as there is also reported interest from Barcelona.
Target #3 Alberto Moreno:
Rodger’s also wants Moreno after keeping a close eye on the player’s progress for a while now.
The move to Anfield could become diffuclt as Sevilla are holding out for £20m for the Spaniard
Target #4 Xherdan Shaqiri
Shaqiri has always been admiered by Rodgers who is now willing to make a move happen.
It is known that Shaqiri has grown in frustration with Bayern Munich after limited playing time, which could open the door to a possible move.
Bayern value Shaqiri at £16m and Rodger’s could be ready to capture the Swiss winger.
Target #5 Lazar Markovic
Markovic has made it known that a move to Anfield would be a dream for him.
Liverpool would have to pay at least £25m for the player’s services.
