Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy has failed his medical at Liverpool.

The French striker flew out to America on Friday to join up with The Reds on their pre-season tour, but whilst completing his medical in Boston, the club have found out that he FAILED the tests.

Liverpool have refused to comment on the deal breaking down, but it’s understood that there were concerns regarding his fitness after results from the medical came back negative.

Remy will now fly back to the UK and join up with QPR.

This is now the fourth medical that the French striker has failed since 2002, and it’s reportedly down to the 27-year-old having a hole in his heart.

Liverpool were not prepared to gamble on Remy’s fitness and decided to pull out of the deal after being told about the player’s condition.

When joining QPR from Marseille, both QPR and also Newcastle United, who were also interested, were aware of his rare condition, and they both decided to gamble by signing him.
