Lucas Perez has admitted that he is loving life as an Arsenal player and is a big fan of manager Arsene Wenger.
The 28-year-old is yet to play a good number of games in Arsene Wenger’s first-team, but he has heaped praise on the Gunners boss and how he runs the place.
Perez said that Arsenal are a club that look after all of their staff to a high standard and that he is still adjusting to life at the Emirates.
“Arsenal surprises me every day because of the treatment you get, the desire to have the player as comfortable and at ease as possible,” Perez told Spanish publication Marca.
“You just have to dedicate yourself training.
“It’s a marvel of [a] club.”
The Spaniard couldn’t praise his manager highly enough, describing Wenger as a brilliant mentor and tutor since his move from La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna in the summer transfer window.
“He [Wenger] works with you very closely.
“He helps you to be a better footballer and although he looks quite serious, he’s a great person and a great coach.
“People respect and love him a lot.”
