David Luiz is having a medical at Paris Saint Germain, according to Sky Sports News.
The Brazilian has been linked with the French club, and it emerged on Friday that talks were at an advanced stage, with PSG closing in on the signing.
Luiz, who signed for Chelsea in 2011 from Benfica for £21 million, has made 143 appearances for the club, however, he now looks set to leave.
The deep lying midfielder has three years to run on his current Chelsea deal,but PSG have reached an offer at £40 million in which Chelsea could not refuse.
Luiz had been a target for both Barcelona and Bayern Munich, after publically slating Chelsea’s trophyless season in a controversial tweet which he posted on the social networking site.
And PSG are set to break their club record for the Brazil international, with a swift move to be tied up in the coming days or so.
The move will see him line up with intetnational defensive team-mate Thiago Silva on a weekly basis.
Luiz won two honours during his time at Chelsea, with the 2012 Champions League, and 2013 Europa League.
