Everton’s in form centre forward Romelu Lukaku wants to continue his recent fine form for the club, ahead of two difficult fixtures for the Toffees over the next week, as Everton face Manchester United and table toppers Arsenal.

Lukaku was superb in Everton’s impressive victory against Stoke City, as Martinez’ side battered the staffordshire side 4-0.

The on loan Chelsea striker will be hoping to continue his fine form in front of goal, after enjoying a superb start to his loan spell at Everton, in a very important season for the youngster, ahead of Belgium’s World Cup campaign in Brazil this summer.

Everton have started the season in fine form and will be heading into the next two games against two of the leagues top sides, full of confidence, and with a striker like Lukaku in their ranks, will be hopeful of getting a positive performance out of the two.

Lukaku, who enjoyed a successful loan spell at West Bromwich Albion last year, where he netted 17 times in a superb season for the Baggies stated in an interview…..

“I was very pleased to score again,” the Belgian hitman told evertontv. “It wasn’t the easiest game for me but I did my best and I was lucky to score a goal today.

“It (the coming week) is a very nice challenge. If you want to be in the top four you have to make the best of it and we will work hard to get ready for the games and then hopefully get good results.”

The two games that Lukaku partakes in could have huge significance on the title race, with Lukaku’s parent side Chelsea looking to mount a title challenge.

But he said: “I just want to win those games, I will do my best to help my team to win and hopefully it’s by scoring goals.

“I think sometimes about my parent club, obviously, but I am here to help Everton and help them perform and if we win, it’s better for us.”

Lukaku has recently hinted at a Goodison park stay in the last few days.

Lukaku has scored important goals for the Merseyside club as they push for a European spot.
