Lyon defender Samuel Umtiti has been linked with a move to Barcelona in the past couple of weeks, However, reports in Spain suggest Premier League teams are also keen to sign the French youngster.
According to the Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea have been admirers of Umititi for a while now, and have made previous attempts in the past to sign him.
Antonio Conte is said to be seeking defensive reinforcements, and the big boss Roman Abramovich is apparently trying to sign Umtiti for the Italian manager, according to the Mundo Deportivo.
The Blues have also apparently made their intentions very clear to his brother and agent, Yannick Umtiti.
