Centre-back has annoyed Jurgen Klopp by refusing loan move
Mamadou Sakho is set to be frozen out at Liverpool after refusing a loan move away from Anfield on transfer deadline day.
Sakho and Jurgen Klopp had a minor fallout while Liverpool were on their pre-season tour of the USA, and Sakho was eventually sent home.
Klopp then challenged Sakho to prove himself at another club this season, but Sakho refused all offers dealt to him, and is now facing a season of very limited football at Anfield.
He rejected Turkish side Besiktas, Stoke City and West Brom, with the Baggies even prepared to buy the Frenchman for £20million.
Klopp sees Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip , Ragnar Klavan and Joe Gomez as his quartet of senior central defenders, with midfielder Lucas Leiva able to provide cover in an emergency.
