City ready to hijack Chelsea and United transfer plans
Manchester City are looking to hijack any potential deal for Chelsea and Man United and sign PSG’s Marquinhos this summer.
Sources in France are claiming that Pep Guadiola is making the defender a ‘top priority’ upon his arrival at The Etihad this summer. It’s thought that there is a £50million price tag on the young defender’s head.
Chelsea, Barcelona and Manchester United all have the funds to break the bank but it’s thought City are the front runners.
It’s thought the Brazil international is unhappy with being deployed at right-back by manager Laurent Blanc as he’d rather be a permanent fixture at centre-back.
However, Blanc’s preference for David Luiz and skipper Thiago Silva could see Guardiola lure Marquinhos to Manchester.
