Song, though, has failed to win over the Barcelona fans and it is understood that the 26-year-old will be allowed to leave in the summer.
Barca are set for a period of upheaval, with coach Tata Martino’s future also uncertain, while Song appears set for the exit door.
United remain an interest – although it has cooled in recent weeks – while Napoli are also in the running. However with a price tag like this Moyes seems
set to re-ignite the flame to sign the star midfielder.
And Rafael Benitez will be able to sign the Cameroon international if he agrees to meet Barcelona’s asking price.
