Raphael Varane reportedly wants to leave Manchester United this January.

The French defender was strongly linked with a move to Saudi Arabia this summer but he decided to continue at Old Trafford.

The former Real Madrid superstar has struggled to perform at the highest level and was dropped in the last two Premier League games.

According to several sources, Varane is currently unhappy with his role at Old Trafford and Erik ten Hag is eyeing some defensive changes this January.

The manager was eager to bring in a new centre-back in the summer but Harry Maguire failed to sanction his move to West Ham United.

Varane has attracted the interest of several Saudi Arabia clubs and he reportedly wants to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr.

Man United will definitely expect a decent fee for the World Cup winner and it is the right time for the Frenchman to leave Old Trafford.

Injuries have derailed Varane’s minutes at Old Trafford restricting him to just 73 appearances in over two years.

The Red Devils have already identified Jean Clair-Todibo as their next potential defender target in the winter transfer window.
