Manchester United’s long, well kown pursuit of Atletico Madrid’s Koke could be under threat due to the success of the Spanish club in the Champions League.
United were knocked out of the European competition on Wednesday in another chapter of a disappointing season, while Atletico made it through to the semis, beating Barcelona 2-1 on aggregate.
David Moyes has been closely monitering Koke all season, maybe with plans to make a summer move for the youngster. Atletico cannot compete with United financially, but Koke recently said at a sponsership event in Madrid, “I’m very happy right now and I’m not leaving- I’m not leaving home.”
“I want to continue here and I have a long contract”
