Manchester City bracing themselves as Real Madrid all set to bid £60 million for Aguero

Real Madrid are set to make a summer move for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero. 

Florentino Perez has confirmed that they are set to table a £60 million bid for the City striker, who scored 17 Premier League goals last season, as the Citizens won the Premier League. 

The move for Aguero comes after Madrid have given up hope of signing Liverpool striker Luis Suarez. 

Real are prepared to wait until after the World Cup and Perez said: “We are not thinking about making a move for Aguero – at the moment.

“Right now, there is no real urgency to sign new players.”

Aguero, aged 25 spent five years in Madrid, with Real’s arch rivals Atletico, before moving to Manchester City in the summer of 2011, in a £25 million move. 

The Argentine has also spoke of his admiration of Real, who submitted a bid last summer, however City turned it down of ourse.
