Premier League side ready to sign Belgium
Manchester City are confident of signing Wolfsburg star Kevin De Bruyne this week, and have reportedly booked his medical already.
The Citizens have been linked with the Belgium for the past few weeks, and have now informed the local hospital that they want a medical in the next few days, believed to be for De Bruyne.
Despite the two teams not officially agreeing on a transfer fee, or the midfielder even agreeing to join the Premier League outfit, City are still confident that they will land him later this week.
City Ready to Sign
It’s believed that Manuel Pellegrini will pay around £45million to sign the 24-year-old, and if the deal happens in time, De Bruyne’s debut could come against his former-club Chelsea next weekend.
The Belgium flopped at Stamford Bridge after failing to break into Jose Mourinho‘s first-team, but since then, he has flourished in the Bundesliga and become one of the hottest properties in European football.
As well as offering £45m for the transfer fee, City are reportedly ready to offer the midfielder a whopping six-year deal, worth around £140k-a-week.
