Manchester City have been rocked in recent weeks by injuries to three of their main strikers, Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic.
With so many sidelined forwards, it looks like City may have to buy in some fresh blood to add some firepower up front.
Chelsea reject, Kevin De Bruyne might just be the ticket. The Belgian never made the grade at Stamford Bridge and is now plying his trade at Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, where he has impressed.
Wolfsburg will want at least £20million for the World Cup star, and City will need to tread gently, due to breaching financial fair play rules, and being fined £49million. It seems though that De Bruyne will fall within the acceptable budget. Whether he will keep his place in the side when City are back to full strength, remains to be seen.
