The midfielder could earn nearly £400K a week with City

Pogba is City’s main transfer target with the former Premier League Champions keen to take back their domestic crown.

If the French international made the move from Juventus he would become the highest paid player in their history with Yaya Toure currently taking home £220,000-per-week.

Mino Raiola who represents Pogba as well as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mario Balotelli is reported to be very happy to broker a deal which could earn Juventus upwards of £50m.

Toure used as leverage

City will need to act fast if they are to land the 22-year-old as PSG have reportedly tabled a bid in excess of £60m.

Yaya Toure who is rumoured to be wanting a move away from the Etihad may be used as part of the deal to land Pogba, which would see the Ivorian move to Turin.

Inter Milan have also reportedly showed an interest in Toure but it remains to be seen whether either club will be able to afford his salary.

Should Pogba choose City he would become the highest paid midfielder, eclipsing the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Lionel Messi who all earn around £300,000 a week.
