Manchester City are set to win the battle for the signature of Monaco defender Layvin Kurzawa.
The highly-rated 22-year-old has become a prime target for several top European teams, including Manchester United and Chelsea, however it appears that City are ready to pull out all the stops to land their prized man.
Kurzawa was invited to attend City’s Champions League game against Bayern Munich last night, and even had a private plane set up to bring the defender to Manchester, however, Monaco blocked any proposed invitation.
The player came through the youth ranks at the French Ligue 1 club, and recently made his full International bow for France.
