Manchester City are keen to sign Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, and may even offer them striker Stevan Jovetic as part of the deal, despite him only joining the club six months ago.
The Italian side have reportedly enquired about signing Jovetic on loan until the end of the season, but City have rejected their enquiry and have told them that they want Pogba in return for their injury-hit striker.
The Montenegro international has barely featured since signing from Fiorentina in the Summer due to numerous injures, and Manuel Pellegrini may try and usher him out of the club, whilst bringing in an up-and-coming midfielder.
Pogba, 20, has become one of Europe’s hottest midfielders in recent seasons after he’s put in some sublime performances for Juve in the Serie A.
It is thought that the Frenchman is worth around £30million, but that is a price that City are willing to pay in order to capture their target, and as Pogba is a former-Manchester United flop, it would be another harmful blow to their fierce local rivals.
