MAREK HAMSIK has dismissed any prospect of joining any Premier League club, as he is happy in Napoli.
Media outlet TalkSPORT credited Manchester United and Chelsea with interest following his impressive Euro 2016 campaign.
While Italian football journalist Emanuele Giulianelli claimed Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was planning a £35m approach for the Slovakia international.
However, despite the speculation, the trio of clubs are to be dealt a massive blow in terms of chances of signing him, as he told the press that he is happy in Napoli and has no intention of moving any time soon.
The 28 year old joined Napoli from Brescia in 2007 and insists he’s focused on achieving a record number of appearances for the club.
He told the club’s official YouTube channel: “Ten years is a long time for a footballer to spend with a single team.
“It doesn’t happen to many players, but I’m glad I made it.
“But the record in terms of appearances will still take more than 100 games. I can make it, if I spend my entire career with Napoli.”
