Bertrand is also linked with other Premier League clubs

Manchester United’s Luke Shaw has been heavily linked with a move away from the club this summer. After fall out with manager Jose Mourinho, it looks like he has no future with the club and could be a part of a mass exodus by Mourinho this summer.

United have already been heavily linked with Tottenham’s Danny Rose and Juventus’s Alex Sandro for a summer move. According to latest news, they are also keeping tabs on Southampton’ s Ryan Bertrand.

Manchester United are ready to consider a £25 million summer bid for Southampton left-back Ryan Bertrand, according to The Sun .

The 28 year old is already tipped to leave Southampton this summer as they are fighting for the Relegation battle and currently at 18th position with just 6 games left to play. The England International was set to join Manchester City last summer but Saints refused to let him go, as they didn’t want to lose both him and Virgil van Dijk in the same season.

He is an alternative option for United if deals for Danny Rose or Alex Sandro does not materialise, while Everton, Newcastle and Tottenham are also interested in the former Chelsea player.

Southampton made Ryan Bertrand’s loan permanent from Chelsea in February 2015, signed him for £10 million. He is currently on £80,000-a-week and his contract will expire on 2021.
