United manager David Moyes made a desperate late bid to take Coentrao on a season-long loan on transfer deadline day in September, having seen his attempts to lure Leighton Baines to Old Trafford fended off by Everton.
But any renewed approach for Coentrao has already been rejected by Ancelotti.
‘No players are leaving and we’re not going to sign anyone,’ he said. ‘The window is closed for us.’
Moyes, meanwhile, remains desperate to bolster his squad with Untied having lost back-to-back matches at Old Trafford for the second time this season, seeing them fall 11 points off the pace of league leaders Arsenal and crash out of the FA Cup in the Third Round.
