Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic could be set for a Summer exit from Old Trafford after his agent revealed that the centre-back has no intentions of signing a contract extension.
The club-captain only has six months left on his current contract and it has been widely reported that clubs in Serie A are interested in bringing him to Italy.
David Moyes and officials at Old Trafford are desperate to open talks about a new contract with the captain, but his agent, Silvano Martina, has ruled out that possibility.
‘Vidic, given his contract situation, has several teams looking at him.
‘Vidic is a very good player and will have no trouble finding a new club. For the time being we are remaining calm.
‘However, at the moment, I would rule out an extension with Manchester United.’
