It seems Real Madrid are now favourites to sign the much wanted Paul Pogba. Despite recently signing a contract extension at Juventus, the former Manchester United midfielder looks to be on his way out.
Pogba, still only 21-years-old, didn’t settle at all at Old Trafford, and after making only three appearances in the first team, he left in 2012.
Last season he made a huge contribution to Juve’s third league title in a row, popping up with 7 goals in 36 appearances from midfield.
However, Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola has said: “He cannot stay for very much longer in Italy. It will depend on the Bianconeri (Juventus).”
That statement has naturally sparked interest in the Frenchman, and Carlo Ancelotti is keen to secure him at the Bernebeu for next season. Some reports suggest he is preparing a whopping £78million bid. Chelsea and Manchester City are also keeping tabs on the situation.
