Gareth Bale is reported to want to come back to the Premier League. There aren’t many teams that will be able to put up the cash for the £80million rated forward. Manchester United are one of those teams that will be able to afford him if he becomes available.
Real Madrid handed over £86million to Spurs in 2013, and the 25-year-old Welshman went on to score in the Champions League win over Atletico Madrid at the end of his first season in Spain.
A season and a half after signing for one of the giants of European club football, all the talk is of Bale coming back to the Premier League and playing for one of the big boys.
United boss, Louis van Gaal is a keen admirer of the star, and with him also targeting Roma’s Kevin Strootman, and Borussia Dortmund’s Mats Hummels, the Red Devils could be looking at spending around £160million for all three at the end of the season.
